Emily Teague is a photographer & director based in Brooklyn, New York. Starting photography at the age of 16 while living in Northern California, her curiosity quickly turned to an obsession for playing with storytelling, light, and color.

 

Deeply influenced by cinema, photojournalism, nostalgia, and the intimacy of human connection, Emily’s work is both evocative and nuanced. Her approach is rooted in collaboration, play, and creating space for others to feel seen. 

 

She balances her passion for creating stories with telling the stories of others through her work with non-profits and NGOs. Her work has taken her to over 30 countries throughout North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, the Caribbean, and Africa.
