Chris Fain is an Atlanta-based commercial and editorial portrait photographer with 15 years of professional experience and a deep specialization in lighting. He serves as Profoto's resident product expert and lighting educator, hosting regular live sessions and Q&A broadcasts covering everything from TTL techniques to advanced light shaping tools. A Peter Hurley Pro Associate, Chris trained directly under the renowned headshot photographer before launching his own career and joining the Profoto team. His teaching philosophy centers on demystifying lighting — making it accessible and approachable for photographers at every level. He has led workshops nationally in partnership with Samy's Camera and Profoto, teaching photographers how to intentionally shape light to create depth, mood, and style.
